Toyotomi Glass Fiber Wick (F): All paraffin wick heaters require operation with a wick. Every Toyotomi wick heater already comes with a wick pre-installed. The glass fiber wicks are made of a cotton blend and glass-ceramic threads. Nevertheless, the Glass Fiber Wick (F) should be replaced or changed approximately once a year, because it gradually hardens due to being constantly moist from the petroleum.
You can replace the Toyotomi Glass Fiber Wick (F) yourself. Detailed instructions for changing the wick can be found in the heaters instruction manual. This manual also includes pictures illustrating about the replacement process of the wick.
