Toyotomi Glass Fiber Wick (K-30F): All paraffin wick heaters require operation with a wick. Every Toyotomi wick heater already comes with a wick pre-installed. The glass fiber wicks are made of a cotton blend and glass-ceramic threads. Nevertheless, the Glass Fiber Wick (K-30F) should be replaced or changed approximately once a year, because it gradually hardens due to being constantly moist from the petroleum.
You can replace the Toyotomi Glass Fiber Wick (K-30F) yourself. Detailed instructions for changing the wick can be found in the heaters instruction manual. This manual also includes pictures illustrating about the replacement process of the wick.
